  1. Set Up AdGuard Home: Follow the AdGuard Home Getting Started Guide to install and configure AdGuard Home on your desired machine (e.g., .10.5).

  2. Configure DNS in UniFi Network Application:

    • Open the UniFi Network application.
    • Navigate to Settings > Networks.
    • Select the network (or VLAN) you wish to configure.
    • Scroll to the DHCP Name Server section.
    • Uncheck the Auto option next to DHCP Name Server.
    • Enter the IP address of your AdGuard Home instance (e.g., .10.5) as the primary DNS server.
    • Apply the changes.

This setup ensures that devices within the specified network use your AdGuard Home instance for DNS resolution, enhancing privacy and control over network traffic.

Note: Ensure that the machine running AdGuard Home is accessible from the network or VLAN you’re configuring.
