Celtic Knot

Blueprint String: Train Celtic Know Intersection RHD
In most of my playthroughs I use a celtic knot intersection In the past, I have used simple circles, but they caused a lot of problems in the long run, especially with 1-4 trains. Train circles with four exits often lead to traffic jams and complicated signaling because trains can approach from multiple directions, making it difficult to manage their paths efficiently. This setup frequently results in delays and underutilized routes, hindering the overall performance of your rail network.
In contrast, the Celtic design offers a more organized layout by clearly separating incoming and outgoing tracks, ensuring smoother traffic flow and simpler signal management. Adopting the Celtic pattern makes your rail network more reliable and easier to scale, enhancing the overall efficiency of your factory. By switching to the Celtic Knot, you can create a more stable and efficient transportation system that supports the growth and productivity of your Factorio base.
Unloading Station for 1-2 Trains including stacker

Blueprint String: Unloading Station for six 1-2-trains
This blueprint is a compact and efficient train unloading station designed for up to six trains. It includes a single unloading station with space for four trains waiting in a stacker, and one train positioned directly before the station. The stacker is designed with a drive-through feature if not full, ensuring smooth traffic flow by allowing trains to enter and exit without passing by the unloading station. This setup minimizes waiting times while maintaining a streamlined unloading process, making it ideal for high-traffic train systems in your Factorio base.
The input to this station is connected to the main train bus using the Celtic knot intersection. This provides smooth routing and traffic management for incoming trains while preventing congestion. On the opposite side of the station, there is a dedicated turnaround loop to allow any train to make a 180-degree turn if necessary. Since the Celtic knot intersection is not designed for U-turns, this turnaround loop ensures flexibility in train movement, keeping the network functional and adaptable to various situations. This combination of efficient unloading, smart routing, and turnaround capability makes this blueprint a robust addition to your train network.
